MultiMedical Systems was established in 1996. Its mission has been an unwavering foundation to provide the highest quality service at competitive pricing. Providing unparalled comprehensive clinical engineering services to hospitals, surgery centers, imaging centers, clinic systems, physicians offices, dental offices, and physical therapy offices throughout California is what we strive for everyday.

Staying at the forefront of this industry is demanding and we at MMS will always make sure that your facility and equipment stays compliant for all regulatory agencies.

OurTechs   Our Technicians
MultiMedical Systems has some of best trained employees, technicians and engineers in the industry. Every month our staff undergoes various types of training and in-service. MMS has sent its technical staff to manufacture and third party training on: Anesthesia Machines, Infusion Pumps, Dialysis Machines, Monitoring, Ultrasound, Radiology, Ventilators, Sterilizers, and Lasers. MMS believes that a well trained technical staff provides higher quality service to better serve our clients needs.

Technology   Technology
MultiMedical Systems utilizes equipment that is automated and technically advanced. This allows us to provide a higher level of testing at a lower cost, keeping client equipment running at optimal performance levels. It is MultiMedical Systems' goal to utilize the best test equipment that technology offers.

Our belief is that automation is a key to efficiency and thoroughness. We have been able to raise the quality of our service by improving our integrated computer database system. By strategically positioning our service representatives, and by using state-of-the-art test equipment, MultiMedical Systems offers its customers a much higher level of service. This includes an automated, paperless system that is more efficient and thorough. It also allows testing to be performed in less time, while providing more detailed test data.

Our clients can now access all of their equipment records on-line. They have the capability to view and print service records, service history, schedules, and inventories. Access to current records is of utmost importance in a highly regulated industry, especially with Joint Commission unscheduled inspections.

It is the goal of MultiMedical Systems to continually research and evaluate the latest technology, to incorporate what improves the quality of service, to always provide services that insure patient safety, and to meet all regulatory requirements. We will do this while striving to keep our customer’s costs to a minimum.

Dotmed News
Medical imaging is certainly more sexy, but durable medical equipment -- like beds and wheelchairs used in the patient's home--are a vital segment of medical equipment markets. (DOTmed Business News magazine covered hospital beds and wheelchair markets in our December 2007 issue, which is archived online--just click on the magazine image for links.)

DOTmed follows news developments in the DME markets such as the latest thinking on the proposed half-million dollar surety bond requirement--no doubt too steep for those mom-and-pop home care companies out there. Perhaps not unrelated, we cover the too-frequent reports on fraud in that industry. But on a positive note, in the news this week is a success story on accreditation from a Florida company that has accomplished that requirement well ahead of time. Medicare DME providers will need to be accredited by September 30, 2009. Read how they did it.

If you're a DME supplier or medical equipment professional, stay tuned to DOTmed News Online and our magazine to keep abreast of news affecting your business and market. The March issue of our magazine, featuring lab equipment and other topics, is hot off the presses now.
